‘Maatrubhumi’Not Releasing in 2026?

Salman Khan was advised to "tone down the anti-China portions" and subsequently initiated extensive reshoots, revising approximately 40% of the film to incorporate a fictional narrative, romance, and an expanded backstory for his character. This led to an extended reshoot period of around 40 days.
The film has also been facing hurdles regarding its certification, as Salman Khan Films clarified on July 4, 2026, that the film has not yet been submitted to the Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) for clearance.
