Earlier when Meghna was asked to elaborate on the incident, she had revealed how Deepika's role in the movie is distinctly different than any of her previous ones. “You won’t be seeing Deepika, you know. You will be seeing a disfigured Deepika. There is an uncanny similarity between the survivor and Deepika," she said.

Apart from narrating a story on such a braveheart, Deepika is also excited for a different reason. She turns producer with Chhapaak and it goes without saying why has a desire to invest everything in it. Besides an actress, she'll also take calls as a producer while on the sets and that's new territory for her. We do wish her all the luck for this big project. The movie will also see her getting paired with Lootera and Half Girlfriend actor, Vikrant Massey.
