Kangana Ranaut- Rajkummar Rao's film Mental Hai Kya has been engulfed in the controversy.  The Central Board of Film Certification (CBFC) raised an objection towards it as they claimed it to be 'harsh'. After Kangana recently confirmed that there will be a change in the title, here is the new title. The film will be now called as 'Judgementall Hai Kya'. "Given the sensitivity attached to the issue of mental health and our intention of not offending or hurting anyone’s sentiments, the makers have decided to change the title of the film Mental Hai Kya to ‘Judgemental Hai Kya’. Both Kangana and Rajkummar have outdone themselves in this thriller and we can’t wait for audiences to witness it on the big screen," said Balaji Motion Pictures' spokesperson.

Earlier, the objection was first raised by the Indian Psychiatric Society (IPS) as they found the title discriminative and stigmatising against the people who are suffering from mental illness. When it comes to scenes of the film, it is reported that the film has got the U/A certificate with zero cuts. However, owing to the objections that have been raised to the word 'mental', the same word will also be muted before the final release.

The film is directed by Prakash Kovelamudi and bankrolled by Ekta Kapoor. Apart from Kangana and Rajkummar, the film also stars Jimmy Sheirgill, Amyra Dastur & Hrishitaa Bhatt. The film will hit the screens on as per the scheduled date which is 26 July 2019. What are your thoughts on the title of the film? Do let us know in the comments section below.
