Panipat is struggling on many ends. If its box office collections are struggling to dominate the ticket windows, protests in Rajasthan are making things worse for the producers. The movie is also facing stiff competition from Kartik Aaryan's comedy, Pati Patni aur Woh and this is further adding to its woes. After enjoying a decent opening of over Rs 4.12 crore, Panipat gained momentum in its first weekend but eventually saw a decline in its collections towards the beginning of another week. Popular trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to his Twitter account to reveal its Monday figures, that were far lesser than Sunday or even its opening day. "#Panipat continues to struggle... #Mumbai circuit - which was performing best - declines considerably on Day 4... North and East sectors remain poor... Fri 4.12 cr, Sat 5.78 cr, Sun 7.78 cr, Mon 2.59 cr. The recent protests in Jaipur, Rajasthan even led to protestors vandalising the theatres in the city. The result of which was the cancelling of all shows in the entire state. Hopefully, things will get better in time but the chances of Panipat collecting a decent amount towards its run end are very bleak.
