Aamir Khan recently extended his support for Prime Minister Narendra Modi's initiative on banning the use of single-use plastic in India. During the Independence Day 2019 speech, PM Modi specifically spoke about this initiative and spoke about launching a new mass movement against single-use plastic from October 2, the birth anniversary of Mahatma Gandhi. In support of this initiative, Aamir had taken to Twitter and wrote, "The initiative by the Hon'ble PM @narendramodi to curb 'single use plastic' is an effort all of us should strongly support. It's up to each of us to make sure we stop using 'single use plastic'."Janmashtami 2019: Aamir Khan Celebrates Dahi Handi with Son Azad and Shares an Adorable Picture.
