Speaking to reporters, a visibly emotional Sawant praised Tamizhaga Vettri Kazhagam (TVK) chief Vijay, urging political leaders and officials to look at his real-life contributions.
"Vijay, Thalapathy ko dekho. Are sharam karo, sharam karo," Sawant said during the media interaction. "Ye dekho, CM ho aisa ho, PM ho aisa ho. Jo filmo mein unhone kiya, real life mein bhi unhone accha kaam karke dikhaya."
Demanding widespread accountability for the mishandling of student grievances, she added, "Main saare logon ka resignation mangti hu PM, CM, police officers."
