Global Debut of ‘Ramayana’ Teaser in Los Angeles

While Indian audiences await the digital and theatrical release this Thursday, the teaser has already made its international debut. Producer Namit Malhotra and lead actor Ranbir Kapoor recently hosted an exclusive preview event in Burbank, Los Angeles. The LA screening, held at an IMAX theatre, was attended by select international media and industry insiders.

‘Ramayana’ Teaser Release in India

Following the successful international preview, the makers have planned a grand unveiling for the domestic audience. On the morning of Hanuman Jayanti, the "Rama" glimpse will be screened at PVR IMAX theatres across major Indian cities.

This theatrical strategy aims to showcase the film’s cutting-edge visual effects, developed by the Oscar-winning VFX powerhouse DNEG, in the format for which they were designed. The teaser is expected to be released on social media platforms shortly after the morning screenings conclude.

Directed by Nitesh Tiwari, this adaptation of the ancient epic features a high-profile ensemble cast  including Ranbir Kapoor as Lord Rama, Sai Pallavi as Sita, Yash as Ravana, Sunny Deol as Hanuman and Ravie Dubey as Lakshman
