IMDB's Mistake Makes Google Give Ranveer Singh The Offensive Tag of 'Chutiya Actor'; Tech Giants Rectify Their Error

Ranveer Singh is known for his terrific performances. In case you don't agree with me, you are not familiar with his movies like Band Baaja Baaraat, Lootera, Bajirao Mastani and Padmaavat. He is also known for his persistent love story with fellow actor Deepika Padukone, whom he is all set to marry this year (if strong rumours are to be believed). Ranveer is, above all, known for his eccentric dressing style and OTT behaviour off screen that makes him stand out from his peers. Yes. Someone had the bright idea of searching for this term on Google and the result ended up with Ranveer Singh's name. Remember the time when Salman Khan's name cropped up when we searched for 'worst actor Bollywood' on Google? Well, poor Ranveer had been the latest victim of this new search tag. Google has now thrown away this search result, but people have already captured the screenshot, like the tweet below -

Ranveer Singh fans, before you go on abusing Google, you might spend some more energy of that on IMDB. That search result came because some hateful IMDB user had created a list of 'Top 10 Chutiya in Bollywood'. We believe that Ranveer Singh topped this list, which made him the answer to Google's search. However, that IMDB list is no longer available. It looks like Ranveer's PR has managed to make both Google and IMDB see this glitch and get this rectified immediately.

Anyway, Ranveer Singh doesn't deserve this silly tag and we also wonder why would anyone go on to search for 'chutiya actors' on Google. Was this IMDB list made just to make sure Ranveer Singh ended up being the answer on Google? Very evil scheme indeed!
