There were flowers flown in from Florence and filter coffee brought in all the way from India. The dulha (Singh) came with his baraat in a yacht and each and every ceremony took place facing the gorgeous Lake Como in Italy.
In fact, the guests who were invited stayed in a room that nearly cost Rs 86,000 for one night. Not just that, even media houses received beautiful tokens of love from the couple. Having spent so lavishly, you can tell that both the actors did earn quite big bucks this year. As per Forbes' list of highest paid Bollywood celebrities of 2017, Deepika's net worth was valued at $11 million whereas Ranveer's earning stood tall at $10 million. Combining them would give a total of $21 million which, which converted results in approximately a whopping Rs 155 crores! Now you see why they were able to pull off their destination wedding at such a grand scale?

You see, popularity-wise, Deepika and Ranveer have both enjoyed a good fandom which has enabled them to sign not just many films but also lucrative endorsement deals. The couple got married on the said dates of 14th and 15th in a traditional Konkani as well as Sindhi-style wedding. After the Sindhi wedding, they both finally took to social media to feed the fans with their wedding pictures. Since then, all social media or news publications have been talking about is the big fat Indian wedding of DeepVeer. The couple will be hosting three reception parties in India and will also take off on a short honeymoon before Singh has to return for Simmba promotions.
