Sidharth Malhotra- Manoj Bajpayee's film 'Aiyaary' is constantly getting delayed for various reasons. Yet again, the makers have pushed the released date to February 16, 2018. Trade Analyst Taran Adarsh confirmed the new date by tweeting, "It’s CONFIRMED... #Aiyaary shifted to 16 Feb 2018." Even though the actual reason for postponing the movie is not confirmed, there were reports that the Defense Ministry wanted to review the film owing to its Army backdrop. The flick which was originally planned to be released on January 26, has now crawled way ahead of said date.

Talking about the film and its release, Sidharth earlier told IANS, "Our producers are tackling it. It's in the process. Each film has its own reasons. We have seen what happened with that film ("Padmaavat"). Our film doesn't have severe issues as far as I know after talking with my producers. I have full faith that our producers will come up with a positive result, so I don't see any issue with that. I hope that our film has a smooth release."

Earlier, PadMan and Aiyaary would clash at the Republic weekend. However, due to sudden announcement of Padmaavat on the same date, both the films postponed the release dates, again clashing on February 9. Now, as Aiyaary again reschedules its release, Akshay Kumar's social drama will get enjoy undivided attention of the audience for a week.

Aiyaary is directed by Neeraj Pandey and bankrolled by Shital Bhatia, Dhaval Gada and others. The film also stars Rakul Preet Singh, Pooja Chopra, Adil Hussain, Kumud Mishra, Naseeruddin Shah and Anupam Kher in lead roles.
