After surpassing the lifetime business of Shah Rukh Khan and Deepika Padukone's 2013 blockbuster Chennai Express, Ranveer Singh starrer Simmba continued its good run on its third Tuesday. In fact, the cop drama went pass the Rs 200 crore in just 12 days and is now looking to enter the Rs 250 crore club in India. On Tuesday, the film collected Rs 2.29 crore, bringing its total box office collection in India to Rs 230 crore which is massive. Despite not wooing the critics, Simmba has had a golden at the box office courtesy the audiences. Trade analyst Taran Adarsh took to Twitter a while back and revealed the updated figures.

He tweeted, "#Simmba continues to trend very well on weekdays... Will near ₹ 235 cr by end of Week 3... [Week 3] Fri 2.60 cr, Sat 4.51 cr, Sun 5.30 cr, Mon 2.87 cr, Tue 2.29 cr. Total: ₹ 230 cr. India biz."

Directed by Rohit Shetty and co-starring Sara Ali Khan, Simmba hit the theatres on December 28. And though it was being said that the film would face stiff competition from Shah Rukh Khan's Zero, it hardly did. In fact, it was Simmba's release that further hampered the collections of Khan's most expensive film till date. Simmba Box Office Collection: Ranveer Singh Starrer Surpasses the Rs 350 Crore Mark Worldwide.

Apart from storming the domestic box office, Ranveer and Sara's masala entertainer has also fared exceptionally at the global box office. So much so that the film has already minted over Rs 350 crore at the global BO. Isn't that commendable? Well, as Ranveer's Simmba continues to entertain the audience worldwide, everyone is now looking forward to his next film Gully Boy which releases on February 14.
