An unusual incident was reported at Bollywood star Shah Rukh Khan’s Mumbai residence, Mannat, after two snakes were spotted entwined beneath a shed in the garden area of the Bandra West bungalow on the evening of August 17. Snake rescuer Vicky Dubey was called to the spot after the reptiles were reportedly seen at around 8 pm.

Dubey managed to safely capture one of the snakes, which measured about 8 feet long and was identified as a Dhaman, or Indian Rat Snake. The non-venomous reptile was later released into its natural habitat following Forest Department protocols. According to a police source, a call was received on August 17 about a snake at Shah Rukh Khan’s residence in Bandra West. Snake rescuer Vicky Dubey reached Mannat after the reptiles were spotted in the garden and courtyard area.

8-Foot Dhaman Safely Captured

Dubey managed to capture one of the snakes safely. The reptile was approximately 8 feet long and was identified as a Dhaman, also known as an Indian Rat Snake. The Dhaman is a non-venomous species and poses no threat to humans.

Dubey assured security personnel and household members that the rescued snake was harmless and urged them not to panic. Following Forest Department guidelines, the captured snake was subsequently released safely into its natural habitat.

Second Snake Remains Untraced

The disappearance of the second snake caused concern among Mannat's security personnel and household members. A search of the premises continued until late at night, with snake rescuers and forest officials involved in efforts to locate the reptile.

Despite the search, the second snake could not be found. The incident prompted the security and household staff to remain alert while the search was conducted across the premises.

Shah Rukh Khan's Upcoming Film King

Meanwhile, Shah Rukh Khan is currently gearing up for his upcoming action film King, directed by Siddharth Anand.

The film also stars Suhana Khan, Deepika Padukone, Abhishek Bachchan, Arshad Warsi, Raghav Juyal and Jaideep Ahlawat. The snake incident at Mannat comes as the actor prepares for his next major film project.
