Ajay Devgn is all set to be seen in a period drama next. Devgn will be seen essaying the role of Maratha warrior Tanhaji Malusare in the film. We have already seen the first look posters of the film and it certainly does look like this one is going to be an epic historical drama. The film also stars Saif Ali Khan and Kajol in lead roles and we are yet to see and we are yet to see the actress' first look. A brand new poster of Tanhaji has now been released where we see Ajay's character holding the Maratha flag. The motion poster reads, "Swaraj Se Badhkar Kya". On November 14, Devgn also shared first look posters of other important characters in the film such as Chatrapati Shivaji Maharaj to be played by Sharad Kelkar, Jijamata by Padmavati Rao and Aurangzeb to be essayed by Luke Kenny. Sharing the new poster which shares trailer release date, Ajay Devgn wrote, "Swaraj se badhkar kya? #TanhajiTheUnsungWarrior, in cinemas 10th January 2020. 4 DAYS TO TANHAJI TRAILER."

Tanhaji: The Unsung Warrior will mainly revolve around the battle of Sinhagad where Tanhaji Malusare showed his bravery whilst fighting against Udhaybhan to be played by a fierce-looking Saif Ali Khan. This film is also special because it brings together Ajay Devgn and Kajol together on-screen after a very long time. Tanhaji: GoT Fans! Gear up for the trailer of this historical drama coming out on November 19. The film will be one of the big releases in the first half of 2020. The film will be clashing with Deepika Padukone's Chhapaak which is also slated for a January 10, 2020 release.
