Bollywood actress Tanushree Dutta recently opened up on a sexual harassment incident that she allegedly witnessed on the film sets of ‘Horn Ok Pleassss’ in 2009. She accused actor Nana Patekar of the misconduct and the latter denied the allegations. This whole controversy has become a sort of a nudge for the #MeToo movement in India. After several celebs from the industry came out in support of the actress, here is Pulkit Samrat speaking of her.

In an open letter that he tweeted, the Fukrey actor urged fans to speak up on the issue. He also explained his perception of the case in pointers through the open letter. He also urged the industry to take stand against what’s right in this long post. Check out the entire letter below.

Meanwhile, Manikarnika actress Ankita Lokhande too spoke on this ongoing #MeToo movement in the country. In one of her tweets, she wrote, ‘I am sad, angry and extremely irritated that after going through the torture of sexual harassment, a woman has to still be strong and justify herself. Also, popular comedian-actor Kapil Sharma who was away from the media gaze citing his health reasons has chosen to speak on the movement. Not taking any names, he was reported saying by ANI, “It makes me feel sad whenever I hear such an incident has happened with a woman or a man.
