Priyanka Chopra and Farhan Akhtar starrer The Sky Is Pink is getting a warm response at the box office. The Shonali Bose directorial got rave reviews from the critics and the audience. However, surprisingly, it has failed to create a mark at the ticket windows. It is right now competing with Hrithik Roshan-Tiger Shroff starrer War and Joaquin Phoenix's Joker. On day 3, the flick collected Rs 4 crore nett approx taking the total collection to Rs 10.50 crore nett approx as per Box Office India. The makers left no stone unturned to make the film a success with heavy promotions. Also, the fact that it was Priyanka's Bollywood comeback film after three years got the fans excited. Also, it is supposedly Zaira Wasim's last Bollywood film (as she announced her decision to quit the industry). Well, despite all these reasons and also the film is beautifully made, it is indeed shocking how fans chose to ditch it.

On the other hand, the mass entertainer War is getting a tremendous response at the ticket windows. The film has managed to break several box office records and is still going great.

Coming back to The Sky Is Pink, it is based on the teenage motivational speaker Aisha Chaudhary. The film hit the screens on October 11. Zaira plays the role of Aisha while Rohit Saraf plays the role of her brother Ishan. Priyanka and Farhan are seen in the role of their parents Aditi and Niren.
