Varun Dhawan is not going to slow down anytime soon! The young superstar has been on the roll as he is right now amid multiple projects in his hands. The actor is right shooting for Remo D’Souza’s Street Dancer and Abhishek Varman’s Kalank. However, amid this, he is also going to star in the remake of 90s hit film Coolie No 1. The movie was the blockbuster collaboration of Varun’s director dad David Dhawan and Govinda. Andaz Apna Apna 2: Ranveer Singh and Varun Dhawan to Actually Replace Salman Khan and Aamir Khan?.

As per the reports in Mumbai Mirror, the box office king will start the shoot on June 1. He will be multi-tasking between these three films, and we wonder how the star will manage it. Jr Dhawan is known to give his hundred percent when it comes to his work. Be it a grey film like Badlapur, a creative piece like October or a period film like Kalank, he knows that he must deliver his best. In fact, he even got himself injured on the sets of Street Dancer and Kalank in the quest to give his best shot.

Now, Coolie No 1 will be an out and out entertainer so that might be his kind of break from such strenuous work. Govinda and David Dhawan’s camaraderie has been one of the most liked ones for the millennials. However, now, it is Varun who is considered as the new-age combo of Salman/Govinda and hence it is not at all surprising that the handsome hunk has been roped in for the contemporary take of Coolie No 1 film.

Earlier, he was seen in David’s another remake named Judwaa 2 which originally starred Salman Khan (Judwaa). The makers had surprised the fans with the cameo of ‘bhai’ in the film. So, it must be seen whether we get to see Govinda in this new No 1 flick too.
