In case you are a NaMo enthusiast, here is some good news for you. A few days ago we shared with you that rumours are afloat that Vivek Oberoi will be essaying the role of PM Narendra Modi in his biopic. We also shared with you the jokes that were cracked by Twitterati at the expense of the politician and the actor. But turns out not all rumours are false. This one is absolutely true. Vivek Oberoi is indeed playing the role of the current PM of India in a movie based on his life. If that is not enough for you to believe, wait till January 7, when the first look of this movie is slated to release.  We wonder how Mr Modi will react to the news.

The news about this biopic in the works and its casting was broke by popular film critic Taran Adarsh on his Twitter handle. The movie, of which we don't even know the title yet, is going to be directed by Omung Kumar, bankrolled by Sandip Ssingh. Well, we are here for the drama. So, bring it on.

January is going to see Bollywood get a little more politically charged than usual. The month will see the release of movies like Uri, Thackeray and The Accidental Prime Minister. Patriotic biopic Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is also there. Add the announcement about PM Modi's biopic to the mix, and we have one extra exciting month.

On the work front, Vivek was last seen in YRF's Bank Chor in 2017 and before that in Great Grand Masti (2016). He was seen in a supporting role in the Ajith starrer Vivegam, a Tamil espionage thriller. The actor will also be seen in supporting roles in Malayalam film Lucifer, Kannada film Rustum, and Telugu film Vinaya Vidheya Rama in 2019.
