According to Khan's distressed accounts shared on social media, she was not actively participating in the protest but was merely standing on the road after her brother, Shahbaz Khan, and male friends had already been detained. She further alleged that it took four policewomen to pull her into the police vehicle, questioning the basis of her arrest.
