Popular television series The Trip that starred Lisa Haydon, Mallika Dua, Shweta Tripathi and Sapna Pabbi is back with its second season. However, its new season will have an additional member in Amyra Dastur! The series that revolves around four best friends and their emotional journey is something that every girl will relate to. The series also tries to wash off the stereotypes attached with a girl and her gang of pals. No conversation between a girl and her group is restricted to guys! We have better things to discuss and not every conversation is about hot guys and sex life. It was glad to finally witness an Indian maker's attempt to narrate a tale of four different lives that are so distinctly different yet similar. Payal Rohatgi takes a Dig At Swara Bhasker's Anti-Rape Stand and Veere Di Wedding's Masturbation Scene on Twitter; See How Swara Responds to This.

When LatestLY recently got in touch with Amyra Dastur to know her experience of working with three actresses in a series and if it was intimidating for her, we were glad to hear her answers. The notion that catfights are prevalent between any two actresses was rubbished by this pretty Mental Hai Kya actress and she, in fact, revealed how great is it to bond with them. When we asked her to comment if she thinks Kareena's Veere Di Wedding was inspired by The Trip (season 1), her reply was surprisingly affirmative. While one would usually not prefer answering such question, Amyra was quite vocal about it. She said, "Yea, (it was). At the end of the day, I can understand that Veere Di Wedding had a bigger audience but we all know what came out first. Even though I wasn't a part of the first season, I wish I could take credit. I can't. I really do believe that someone from that set has watched our season." She further went on to say how her friends had the same reaction when Veere Di Wedding trailer was released. It looked familiar to all of them. Kareena Kapoor Khan, Swara Bhasker, Sonam and Shikha to Gang Up for Veere Di Wedding Sequel Next Year?

Amyra is quite a sport we must say! She's excited about web series debut that will air on October 5myra  and for all the great projects in her kitty. The Mr X actress will be next seen in Prasthaanam, Mental Hai Kya, Rajma Chawal and Made in China.
