The first trailer of the upcoming film Ad Astra dropped on the internet. The movie stars Brad Pitt playing an astronaut who heads out to space to look for his father, played by Tommy Lee Jones. A little Interstellar-ish but more in the thriller space. The trailer is visually appealing with paramount scenes of space adventure splashed across the 2 minutes 32 seconds of the footage. Brad certainly looks in the best form. The movie has been directed by James Gray, who is returning to the chair after 2016's The Lost City of ZHope I Get to Work with Leonardo DiCaprio Again: Brad Pitt.

The first trailer of Ad Astra sets up the premise charmingly with VFX, brilliant background score and some terrific scenes. Brad's character sets out on an ambitious journey into space to look for his father, who has gone missing on a space mission to find extra-terrestrial life on Neptune. For now, we are just happy that the first trailer of Ad Astra has finally dropped. 20th Century Fox has plans to release the film in January 2019, but pushed it to a later date in May. But director, James, was unsure about this date as well owing to the extensive visual effects that were going to make the film stay longer in post-production stage. Later, the Disney, after acquiring Fox, confirmed that the movie has been shifted to September 2019.
