The first Disney-Marvel movie to come out in 2019, Captain Marvel, will release in a month. Considering that it is coming out before the biggest of them all, Avengers: EndGame, Captain Marvel is very crucial to Marvel Cinematic Universe. For one, it introduces us to Carol Danvers, played by Oscar-winning actress Brie Larson, aka Captain Marvel. Comic geeks would know that she is one of the most powerful superheroes in Marvel lore. Secondly, there is also that Infinity War link! Captain Marvel New Character Posters REVEALED: Goose the Cat Steals the Spotlight From Brie Larson, Jude Law, Samuel L Jackson and Rightly So! For those who have patiently sat through the end-credits of Avengers: Infinity War, you were rewarded with one post-credit scene. In that, Nick Fury (Samuel L Jackson) realises somehow that Thanos' snap is obliterating the universe and before he himself got disintegrated, he was seen paging someone. After Fury got snapped away, the camera closes towards the pager, which then reveals the Captain Marvel logo. Captain Marvel’s FIRST Screening Brings Good News for the Fans.

So what's the whole pager connection between Fury and Captain Marvel? Well, a new promo of Captain Marvel has come out that shows how Carol Danvers and Nicky Fury came with the idea of communicating with each other. Since the movie is set in the '90s, what's better than a pager. A note of caution, though - the promo is in Russian.

We really need to know what was it about the moment in Infinity War that made Nick Fury contact Danvers. He didn't pull that stunt during Age of Ultron or even the first The Avengers movie.

Captain Marvel is directed by Anna Boden and Ryan Fleck. The movie also stars Clark Gregg, Ben Mendelsohn, Djimon Hounsou, Lee Pace, Lashana Lynch, Gemma Chan, Annette Bening, and Jude Law. Captain Marvel will release on March 6.
