It is indisputable that Kim Kardashian is the world's biggest selfie queen. So who better to get lessons in taking the perfect selfie, than from “Kim K” herself?

British TV personality Sean Borg did just that back in April 2017, when he attended the world premiere of Christian Bale's movie — "The Promise." Kim was one of the biggest stars at the event, along with her sister Kourtney. And, it was the Queen of selfies herself — "Kim K," who gave Sean some tips on how to take the selfie.

Sean, 52, who starred on U.S. Fox TV news show — TMZ, told No.1 Australian website Best in Au: "I hadn't seen Kim for years until that night. I had met her through Paris Hilton well over a decade ago, and way before she was famous. It was back when I was working on the TV show, TMZ.

It was Sean's distinctive British voiceover back in 2007 that featured on Kim and Ray J's infamous sex-tape news story that ran exclusively on TMZ — the show that helped catapult Kim to fame and fortune.

Sean often bumped into Kim, 39, when she was hitting the town with Paris Hilton at famous Hollywood nightclubs such as Hyde and Les Deux. "She was always very down to earth," Sean said.

So it was a 'nice surprise,' to run into Kim at the film premiere, he said.

As Sean walked along the red carpet at the TCL Chinese Theatre on Hollywood Boulevard, Kim coincidentally arrived around the same time. Sean continued, "It was mayhem on the press line, the photographers were calling out my name, and as was I posing for a few pictures, I heard them shouting 'Kim, KIM,' I turned around, and there she was. She recognized me straight away and waved over at me."

He said: "I slowed down my pace along the press line so that Kim would catch up with me. I thought to myself, I had to have a selfie with her. And why not!?" Sean said: "As Kim approached me, she gave me a big grin and a said, "Heyyyyy."

Sean said: “Everyone was looking at us.” He then lifted his iPhone and asked Kim to pose for a selfie.

Sean said: "She was cool about taking a picture with me and laughed at my first attempt, as it was so awful. Kim came out blurred in the picture. So she gave me a little direction on the second one. She told me to ‘hold the camera to the side for a better angle, and then slowly spin,’ until I found my best light. It worked! Well…Kim looks great in the picture, but me? — Um, not so much."

During Sean's quick "dummies-style" guide to taking the perfect selfie with Kim, he remembered that she showed him how to hold the camera correctly. "She said, I had it down ‘big time’! ‘You're good at this,’ she said.”

"Considering we only had a minute's lesson to take the picture before media and autograph hunters besieged her, I think she did an excellent job in giving me advice."

"I think I still look horrible in the pictures, but Kim looks great. And so she should. She is the Queen of selfies! Sometimes it can be challenging to take a flattering photo of yourself, so, who better to take direction from than Kim," he laughed.

Sean, who recently quit showbiz journalism to work in lifestyle and travel television, he arrived in Tinsel-town in the mid-90s after moving from the UK. Recently it was announced that Netflix TV chiefs in Mumbai want to meet with Sean to discuss potential travel TV opportunities.

Borg, currently known for the Trivago advertisements in Europe, he plans his visit India for business meetings in early 2020.

His spokesperson Akhilendra Sahu said: "Sean is planning a trip to Bollywood in the New Year. He has a love for India like no other country in the world, its people have embraced his work, and he is excited to visit early next year. He is thrilled to have this opportunity."
