James Gunns was fired by Marvel Studios as the director of the Guardians of the Galaxy sequel after his old tweets resurfaced. The tweets that reeked of ignorance to the max. The director issued apologies. He was soon roped in by Marvel's competition Warner Bros Studios' DCEU to helm a soft-reboot of Suicide Squad. Soon news followed that James' brother Sean Gunn has been roped in to play a role in the upcoming The Suicide Squad. Has he? The actor has finally opened up on the ongoing rumours and has spilt no tea. Disappointing. Idris Elba May Jump From Marvel to DC by Replacing Will Smith In Suicide Squad 2, Fans Thrilled To See Him Play 'Deadshot'.

Sean was present at the premiere of Captain Marvel where he was questioned about the same. He said, " It’s interesting to me as an artist. It’s even more interesting as a brother. My brother and I have worked together in many capacities, since we were kids. If he wants me to do something, I will do it. But one of the things I respect most about him is that he’s a storyteller first and foremost. So he’s not going to try to cram me in there if I don’t belong. If he has a part for me, I’d be happy to go do it, but we also have our separate careers and I’m doing my own thing as well, so we’ll just see what happens there.”

So basically the same old, maybe and maybe not Hollywood BS.

Sean Gunn was not only an actor in the MCU but played a much important role. The actor essayed the role of Kraglin in the two GOTG movies. But at the same time, he was also the stand-in for the characters of Rocket and Thanos. That is so cool.
