The infamous Thanos snap at the end of the Avengers: Infinity War saw a plethora of superheroes - with and without their suits - turn to dust and fly with the wind. While it is obvious that many of them are going to return, like the friendly-neighbourhood web-slinger, Spider-man, turns out he will be bringing back two characters with him in Far From Home! As per latest reports, Nick Fury and Maria Hill, essayed by Samuel L Jackson and Cobie Smulders, will be returning to the Marvel Cinematic Universe, in Spider-man: Far From Home.

Oh no, this news wasn't accidentally leaked by Tom Holland but is a confirmation from the Marvel team. While it was known that Nick Fury will return with Brei Larson in and as Captain Marvel, which is slated to have a March release, uncertainty loomed over Maria Hill's de-dusting. There were rumours sprawled across the social media campus and fan pages that she will return in the fourth part of the Avengers looks like the producers had other plans.

These two stars will join the rest of the Spider-Man: Far From Home ensemble in Europe, where they are currently shooting the film. In case you don't know, Jake Gyllenhaal (yes, His Holy Hotness) will play Spidey's new nemesis while Zendaya Jacob Batalon and Tony Revolori will reprise their roles from Homecoming. The sequel is also set to have a July release next year (summer in the United States), July 5, 2019, to be specific.

Although Nick Fury had a blink-and-you-miss appearance in the post-credits of the Avengers: Infinity War movie, he will have a rather extended screen time in the 1990s-set Captain Marvel which will divulge further into his existence, his past and well, his face before the eye patch. We're not sure which film has got us more excited. Perhaps you've got an idea on which film has upped your anticipation? You can tell us below!
