BTS is without a doubt one of the most popular K-Pop bands worldwide. The band has a massive fan following globally and recently they created history as they bagged all four Daesang (grand awards) at Mnet Asian Music Awards. The K-pop group were honoured as Artist of the Year at the awards at the Nayoga Dome in Japan. Not just this, it was Jimmy Fallon who announced the band as the winner of the big award, saying he owned all of BTS’s albums and that he ‘loved this band so much’.
Among the nine wins that BTS swept at the awards, the categories include Best Music Video for 'Boy With Luv', Best Male Group, Qoo10 Favourite Male Artist, and Album of the Year (Daesang) for 'Map of the Soul: Persona'. No that's not it. They took home Worldwide Icon of the Year (Daesang), Best Collaboration for Lee Sora x BTS Suga, Best Dance Performance (Male), Worldwide Fans Choice.
Taking to the stage, Jimin said, “First, thank you so much to Jimmy Fallon who made a special appearance.” He further also added, “We’re working on our next album now, and I think we’ll be able to put out an even better album than you’re expecting. Please look forward to it a lot. Thank you!”

Fans of the band couldn't contain their excitement as BTS swept the major honours. Last year when BTS won the Artist of the Year award, the group gave an emotional and tearful speech and it the group have done it again this year with a smashing album. The band has created history with this win and the BTS Army did make sure to celebrate it with by getting them to trend all day on Twitter.
