The award season is on globally. The list of nominations and pictures from the various ceremony have taken over the internet. Amid this, the nominations from the International Emmy Awards came out. Interestingly, Saif Ali Khan-Nawazuddin Siddiqui's Netflix series Sacred Games has grabbed a spot in the nominations with the 'Drama Series' category. Indeed, such a proud moment for the makers who not only impressed the Indian audience and critics but also them abroad. Sacred Games' popularity was a sudden rush on the internet that inspired many memes and jokes. It was also a sort of come-back for Saif with a gritty and strong role of Inspector Sartaj. Then, there was Nawaz's character, Ganesh Gaitonde, which became an internet-favourite in no time. His swagger dialogues and performance in the series had the fans demand a second season soon.  Apart from these two, Radhika Apte too had a key role to play.

Sacred Games 2 had Pankaj Tripathi, Ranveer Shorey and Kalki Koechlin in the key roles along with rest of the stellar cast. This season was even more bolder and have left a few loose ends, making the fans wonder whether there is a third season. The seasons faced their share of the controversies but managed to win the hearts of the fans whatsoever.
