Ayushmann Khurrana's Andhadhun has been one of the most successful films of 2018. The film received amazing reviews and also managed to receive several accolades. Recently, the Sriram Raghavan directorial also won a National Award for the Best Hindi film. The film is now all set to be remade in South and we recently reported that the actor Prashanth has been roped in for the Tamil remake. Recent reports have suggested that the film may get a Telugu remake too. Andhadhun Tamil Remake Confirmed! Thiagarajan’s Son Prashanth to Step into Ayushmann Khurrana’s Shoes.

While there has been no confirmation about the Telugu remake, a recent report suggested that the Jersey actor Nani might have been finalised for it. Nani is currently busy with the shooting of Gang Leader and may start working on the Andhadhun remake next. It will certainly be interesting to see Nani step into the shoes of Ayushmann Khurrana.

Andhadhun is a crime thriller which revolves around a blind pianist whose life changes upside down after a series of mysterious events take place in his presence. The film is a black comedy and also starred Tabu in a lead role along with Aysuhmann. In the South remakes of the film, it will be interesting to see who will be roped in for Tabu's role which is very key to the story.

The film recently bagged two big honours at the 66th National Awards including Best Hindi Film and Best Adapted Screenplay. It also won the Best Film honour at the Indian film festival of Melbourne (IFFM). The critically-acclaimed film had a successful run at the box office and earned over Rs 100 crore after its release in October 2018 in India.
