After winning one million dollars in an American global talent show, World's Best, for his musical prowess, 13-year-old Lydian Nadhaswaram is all set to compose music for Mohanlal's directorial debut with Barroz. Lydian, a student of AR Rahman’s music academy, shot to fame after winning the CBS talent show and it looks like is all set to make his first ever contribution to South cinema already. Big Brother: Mohanlal to Romance Ek Ladki Ko Dekha Toh Aisa Laga Actress Regina Cassandra in the Siddique Entertainer.

He is already being termed as the "Mozart of Madras" and it looks like we will get to hear his genius musical talents in Barroz. Reports suggest that one of the major reasons for roping in Lydian for the film's music was also because it is a children's film. With Lydian having the right kind of inspiration and talent for such a composition, it does seem like he is a great choice.

The Mohanlal directorial is going to be a 3D film and will revolve around Barroz, a Portuguese mythical figure, who has been guarding Vasco da Gama’s valuable treasures for 400 years. With able hands like that of cinematographer KU Mohanan working on this film, we can expect it to be nothing less than a masterpiece. According to reports, Barroz is all set to go on the floors this October at filming locations such as Goa and Portugal. Buzz is that the film may also include an international cast. It looks like Barroz is going to be one interesting film. We are sure legendary composer A R Rahman is extremely proud of his student, Lydian's big achievement of bagging this film.
