Mahesh Babu returns to entertain you with his latest masala offering, Sarileru Neekevvaru. Directed by Anil Ravipudi, Sarileru Neekevvaru has him paired opposite the pretty Rashmika Mandanna of Geetha Govindam and Dear Comrade fame. Prakash Raj and Vijayshanti also have important roles in the film. The premise is nothing new, and Sarileru Neekevvaru has the usual elements that we see in a superstar movie. There are action sequences with no real stakes, comedy scenes that get stretched a bit too far and a hero presented in the most dynamic way possible. But what makes Sarileru Neekevvaru so entertaining is its treatment, that is very audience friendly. Anil Ravipudi is known for mixing humour with masala elements, and his treatment works to a large extent. And there is Mahesh Babu, who is in top form. His comic timing in the light-hearted sequences is fantastic, making us wonder if he can take a break and do a full-length comedy. The movie also makes good use of Rashmika's cuteness and comic skills, but those scenes irritate after a point. The interval point arrives with a massy action sequence, that sets up an intriguing match between Mahesh Babu and Prakash Raj.
