As a Bollywood release, Shah Rukh Khan's upcoming biggie, Zero, has nothing to worry about. However, that doesn't mean that Zero is not getting a competition-free release on December 21. We had already reported that Kannada film KGF is coming out on the same day, and the movie is being promoted heavily by Farhan Akhtar's Excel Entertainment in the Northern territories. But Zero has more worries to face down South, as there are four big Tamil movies that are also coming out on the same day! Shah Rukh Khan’s Zero to Clash With Farhan Akhtar’s KGF on December 21 – Read Details.

First, there is the gangster comedy, Maari 2, which is the sequel to 2015 film Maari. Dhanush returns to play the lead, though there is a new female love interest for this time. Sai Pallavi of Premam fame will romance Dhanush in the sequel while the movie also stars Tovino Thomas as the antagonist. Check out the Maari 2 Rowdy Baba Lyrical Video here -

Then there is Seethakaathi, in which Vijay Sethupathi is playing an ageing superstar. The trailer, that came out some time back, has created a lot of curiosity for the film, especially with Sethupathi's character and the mystery surrounding his character. The actor is on a roll these days, and he is reuniting with his Naduvola Konjam Pakatha Kanom team. Watch the teaser here -

Jayam Ravi is playing a cop once again for the thriller, Adanga Maru. Raashi Khanna is the heroine, with Ponvannan and Sampath Raj in supporting roles. Check out the trailer here -

Vishnu Vishal, who was so good in this year's Raatchasan, will be seen next in Silukkuvarupatti Singam, a comedy film, directed by Chella. Regina Cassandra and Oviya are the female leads in the movie. Watch the teaser here -

The Tamil Producers Council is yet to give their permission to release all these movies on the same day, so there is a high chance that a couple of the movies may get shifted ahead!
