Was Rajinikanth denied a visa to visit our neighbouring country, Sri Lanka? Well, that's a piece of news that's bothering everyone and mainly for the reason behind it. The actor who's currently enjoying the success of Darbar was supposed to visit the country this year but reports of the Sri Lankan authorities rejecting his visa for unknown reasons started doing the rounds. However, now Sri Lanka Prime Minister, Mahinda Rajapaksa's son, Namal Rajapaksa has cleared the air around this news and called it a mere rumour. Darbar Movie Review: Twitterati Declare Superstar Rajinikanth’s Film a Mass Entertainer!

It all started after Sri Lanka's Northern Province former Chief Minister C.V. Wigneswaran met Rajinikanth at his Poes Garden residence and discussed the issues of Tamilians residing in Sri Lanka. He even invited Rajinikanth to visit the country and the actor was more than willing to plan it in future. Hopefully, the misunderstanding has already been resolved and the actor will plan his trip very soon.
