Netflix has released the trailer for Between Two Ferns: The Movie. It is based on the long-running Funny or Die sketch series where Zach Galifianakis insults his famous guests and asks them humiliating questions. The Netflix film will see Galifianakis along with his crew consisting of fellow comic actors Lauren Lapkus, Ryan Gaul, and Jiavani Linayo hitting the road after they accidentally almost kill Matthew McConaughey during an interview. Zach Galifianakis’ FX Series Baskets to End with the Fourth Season.

It's surprising that a movie is being made on this sketch series and somehow, the trailer merely looks like portions from the show are put together. Between Two Ferns has had a dedicated audience who enjoy Galifianakis' humour but watching it as part of a full-blown film with a road-trip does not sound as much fun. The trailer is star-studded featuring Matthew McConaughey, Benedict Cumberbatch, Brie Larson, Peter Dinklage, John Hamm and others.
