Salman Khan Reacts to ‘Bigg Boss 20’ Casting Criticism
Responding directly to public critique during an interaction with contestant Amrapali Dubey, Khan offered a candid assessment of the casting choices. "We thought we would handpick contestants, but sometimes our selection also falters," Khan remarked during the broadcast. He further noted that thousands of individuals undergo an extensive interview process before the final housemates are chosen.
Addressing the housemates directly, the host dismissed common excuses made by inactive participants regarding screen time."Those who are not seen on the show, their defense mechanism is that they are doing so much in the game," Khan explained. "But the truth is whatever you are saying or doing is not worthy of airing."
Salman Khan Calls Out Underperforming Housemates
Khan used the platform to challenge specific contestants to increase their engagement and take responsibility for their standing in the house. Singling out actor Aman Gandhi, Khan questioned why he was taking a backseat in the game despite initial expectations. "Aman, you wanted to be the main character energy, right? Then why are you roaming around like a character artiste? You're just giving passing shots," Khan said, urging participants to look inward rather than blaming the format or editing.
He also reminded actor Uditi Singh that casting decisions are based on individual personality traits rather than superficial factors, calling on the housemates to justify their selection.
