It was a sad moment for Hina Khan, Komolika and Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 fans, for the actress has been officially replaced. And Kahiin Toh Hoga actress Aamna Shariff who will be returning to the television screens after 6 years, will be doing so with a bang, by stepping into Hina Khan’s shoes as Komolika. Says Aamna to Bombay Times, “When I was offered the role of Komolika, I instinctively knew that this is what will challenge me the most as an actor. It would have been easy to stay in my comfort zone and come back with a love story, but that wouldn’t have satiated me as an actor. But this shouldn’t be a problem, considering Aamna has her own huge fandom.

Ask her about Hina’s portrayal and how she will be essaying Komolika, Aamna says, “I haven’t seen the show and so, didn’t get a chance to see the way Hina portrayed it. But I have heard she was doing a commendable job. Well, looks like Aamna is all set to add her own touch to Komolika and is geared up for it. There were rumours of how actresses Jasmin Bhasin, Karishma Tanna and Gauahar Khan had auditioned for Komolika, but they denied being approached for the show.
