In yesterday’s episode of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 we saw Prerna assuring Anurag that she is with him, and together they can solve all difficulties that come their way. Tonight’s episode starts with Mohini arranging for the gift ceremony of Anurag (Parth Samthaan) and Prerna (Erica Fernandes), before the marriage as per the customs. Prerna calls Veena and tells her that she and Anurag will come as soon as the work is done and tells her to start the rituals and not wait for them. Mohini asks everyone to come as she will be gifting Veena. She opens the box and shows all the guests the expensive gifts that she will be giving to Veena, and everyone praises Mohini.

Veena refuses to take such costly gifts and requests Mohini to give her a small gift as it is a custom. Mohini tells Nivedita to make Veena understand that this is the custom and she should accept the gifts. Veena agrees to take it after everyone forces her to take them for Prerna’s sake. The guests humiliate Veena as she should have given a more expensive gift to Mohini. Mohini taunts Veena that this is a ritual and that she is not taking any dowry and they should see the feelings behind the gift, not the value. Veena gets vexed and tells Mohini that she can give anything to them even her house if she wants for Prerna’s happiness. Veena tells Mohini that she knows her intention is to insult them in front of all the guests and gets hyper.

Shivani calls Prerna to inform her about the situation at the Basu house and asks her to come here ASAP. Anurag also accompanies Prerna. Mohini asks Veena to come up as she wants to talk to her. When Prerna and Anurag arrive, Shivani narrates the entire incident that took place when they were not present.

Mr Das calls Anurag and informs him that their medical factory has been raided and it is Mr Bajaj's doing. Anurag tells him to find out about Mr Bajaj and get his address and inform him. Mohini brings Veena into her room and asks her why is she behaving like this and tries to provoke her by saying that after Prerna gets married to Anurag, she will take away everything from the Basu house one by one and give it to the Sharmas.

In the upcoming episode precap, Mr Bajaj is telling Anurag that everyone has their way of doing things. Mr Bajaj tells Anurag that from today all his assets will come to him.
