Just last week, makers of Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2, telecast the biggest twist on the show, Prerna (Erica Fernandes) ditching Anurag (Parth Samthaan) to marry Rishab Bajaj (Karan Singh Grover). The viewers were not only treated to an exemplary performance from Parth Samthaan as the distraught and heartbroken lover, but also to two wedding scenes and Erica Fernandes yet again donning the bridal avatar for the show. And we have to give it to the makers- the setups for both the weddings were beautiful and let us tell you guys, they did not come cheap. Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 New Promo: Breaking Bollywood Stereotype, Anurag and Prerna’s New Kasautii Will Be All About HATE in Switzerland! (Watch Video)

Want to know how much the makers shelled out for the wedding sequences? Well, a whopping Rs 27-30 lakhs. And we say whopping because that's an expensive kinda sequence.

While Anurag and Prerna's wedding was to take place Bengali style, Bajaj and Prerna's wedding setup was all Punjabi. And, since both the cultures are involved, the makers came together to try and bring as much grandeur to the sequence as possible. Kasautii Zindagii Kay 2 July 19, 2019 Written Update Full Episode: Anurag Follows Prerna and Mr Bajaj To Zurich While Mohini and Nivedita Assume That He Has Committed Suicide!

A source from the team shared with us, “From the bride and groom’s costumes to the decorations, to the food, to the ceremonies and rituals, everything was done with proper care and detailing. The aesthetics of the whole event was on point and no expense was spared when it came to spending on every little thing about the two weddings planned. We must have spent around 27-30 Lacs approximately. The marriage on-set was done with extreme precision, keeping the audience’s likes and dislikes in view considering the show highlights relationships and rituals surrounding marriage and this time it’s two of them, so everything was doubled.”

Well, we wouldn't doubt the above details now, would we? After all, we have to agree, the wedding set up and the sequences, were really amazing and worth the watch now, weren't they?
