Kaun Banega Crorepati is one of the longest-running reality shows in India. Manikarnika: The Queen of Jhansi is based on the life and death of Rani Laxmibai, one of the freedom fighters in the National Uprising of 1857. Kangana Ranaut had played the lead role in the film, and she has also co-directed the film (along with Krish to much controversy). Interestingly, Amitabh Bachchan had provided the narration for the film, that had released on January 25, 2019. While Kangana and her sister Rangoli Chandel, aways complain about how Bollywood never supports them, they would be pleased to see how KBC 11 began the new season by offering a little nod towards their pet project.
