Sony Pictures Network India (SPNI) announced the development on August 10, releasing the show’s first teaser promo across its official social media channels. Madhuri Dixit Steals the Show in First Promo of ‘Kon Honar Crorepati’
The newly released promo highlights Dixit making a traditional entry dressed in a green Paithani saree, complete with a Marathi-style nath (nose ring), a chandrakor bindi, and green bangles. Addressing the audience in Marathi, she announces a shift in the show's format, delivering the tagline: "Je kadhihi ghadla nahi te ghadnar, Maharashtrachya gharoghari charcha rangnar... karank aata khel badalnar!" ("What has never happened will happen, conversations will fill every home in Maharashtra... because now the game will change!").

The promotional video generated immediate buzz among viewers, celebrating both her return to TV hosting and her Maharashtrian roots. Significantly, the promo's release date coincided with the 42nd anniversary of Dixit's debut film Abodh, which was released on August 10, 1984.
