Popular actor-comedian Kiku Sharda, who is best known for his portrayal of characters like Santosh and Bachcha Yadav in The Kapil Sharma Show, is currently holidaying in Bali, Indonesia. Kiku, who is pretty much active on social media, recently took to the micro-blogging site to share a picture of a hotel bill in Bali, where he has been charged a sum of 78, 650 for just a cup of tea and cappuccino. While one would have complaints about being overcharged, however, Kiku had no complaints at all. Wonder why? Well, the comedian later revealed that he had no problem since the bill was generated in Indonesian rupiah (which converts to 400 in INR). Kiku Sharda Named in Rs 50 Lakh Duping Case, FIR Filed Against the Kapil Sharma Show Actor (Deets Inside)

Sharing the picture of the bill, Kiku Sharda wrote on Twitter, "My bill for 1 cappuccino and 1 tea is 78,650/- ,,,,,,, but I am not complaining 😜 as I am in Bali, Indonesia and this amount in their currency converts to ₹ 400/- in Indian currency #mehengaayee" Going by Kiku's tweet, it seems like he was taking a jibe at actor Rahul Bose.

For the uninitiated, Rahul Bose, a couple of months ago, had posted a video of his order of two bananas and showed us how he was charged Rs 442 for it at a five-star hotel in Chandigarh. The video had soon gone viral and sparked a meme-fest on the internet. It also led to a debate on whether it's justified for hotels to charge so much. Not just that, since Bose complained about this on a social media platform, it resulted in a fine on the hotel, that was imposed by the city's Excise and Taxation Department.

Meanwhile, Kiku Sharda had recently made headlines when he was booked in a Rs 50.70 lakh fraud case. As per reports, an art director Nitin Kulkarni filed a complaint against six people from a charitable trust called The Mumbai Fest and Kiku's name was dragged in it since he is associated with the trust.

Reportedly, Nitin, who designed a set of the three-day fest that was held last year at the MMRDA grounds in BKC, was not paid for the work done. In his FIR copy, he stated that he never received a copy of the agreement between him and the trust, therefore, there is no proof. Also, Nitin was given a cheque by the organisers but it bounced. So, a case was registered at the Amboli Police Station. Stay tuned!
