Kashish Kapoor did not mince words when addressing Akanksha Choudhary's behaviour towards Shilpa Shinde. Kapoor expressed outrage at Akanksha's tone, pointing out Shilpa Shinde's seniority in the industry. "Does this pathetic woman have no sense of respect? Shilpa Shinde tumhari maa ki umar ki hai, itni senior hai. First of all, aap karke baat karo. Yeh tu-tadak kar rahi hai," Kashish stated, highlighting Akanksha's use of informal and impolite language. She further dismissed any justification based on anger, emphasising that such behaviour reveals one's true character.

Heated Clash with Shreya Kalra and the Infamous Food Incident

The primary catalyst for Kapoor's condemnation was Akanksha Choudhary's recent explosive argument with Shreya Kalra on Lock Upp 2. The conflict, which unfolded on July 9, 2026, escalated dramatically when Shreya, who held the power to order food from the digital canteen, requested an apology from Akanksha for past behaviour. Akanksha refused and attempted to cancel her food order. During a scuffle that ensued as Shreya tried to prevent Akanksha from cancelling the order, Akanksha sustained a minor accidental nick on her forehead.

The injury infuriated Akanksha, who then threatened to "destroy Shreya's career" and questioned her upbringing. The situation spiralled further when Akanksha retaliated by spilling water on Shreya's bed and, most notably, pouring water into Shreya's food tray as she was about to eat. Akanksha also targeted Madhuri Jain Grover, spilling water on her bed for defending Shreya, prompting Akanksha's close friend Yogesh Rawat to apologise to Madhuri and offer her his mattress.

Kashish Kapoor vehemently criticised this act, calling Akanksha's behaviour "crass."
