‘Lock Upp S2’ Contestants Can’t Do Shows for Few More Months

In a recent conversation with Telly Talk India, Pamala Serena clarified the operational and legal constraints facing Lock Upp Season 2 contestants. She confirmed that participants are under a lock-in period that prevents them from signing up for other reality shows for a specific duration.

"For a few months, we can't do any more reality TV shows. But we have got offers. A lot of offers are coming," Serena stated during the interview.

When asked directly if she had been approached for Bigg Boss 20, Serena chose to keep her future project details private, simply stating, "I can't tell you." She also mentioned that despite her international commitments, she plans to make frequent trips to India for ongoing work.

Serena's comments align with sentiments expressed by other show alumni, including Lock Upp 2 winner Shreya Kalra, who previously indicated a desire to take a break from competitive reality formats due to the mental exhaustion involved.

About ‘Bigg Boss 20’

Bigg Boss 20 remains one of the most anticipated reality television broadcasts in India. Hosted by Salman Khan, the long-running show frequently pulls in high-profile personalities, influencers, and former stars from other reality formats to build its roster of housemates.

Due to intense competition between production houses and broadcasting networks, reality show contracts often include standard non-compete or exclusivity clauses. These agreements typically require contestants to wait several months after a finale before appearing on competing network programs. ‘Bigg Boss 20’: Salman Khan Hints at New ‘Tathas-Two’ and ‘Vardaan’ Twists Ahead of Premiere (Watch Video).

While fan interest in seeing Lock Upp personalities enter the Bigg Boss house remains high, these contractual cooling-off periods mean viewers may have to wait before seeing any crossover appearances in the near future.
