While Priyank Sharma and Vikas Gupta were one of the closest buddies in the small screen industry, seems like trouble is brewing in their friendship. If recent reports are to believe the producer is in no mood to come up with a sequel to his web series Puncch Beat and the reason is Priyank Sharma. Yes, you read it right. While Ekta Kapoor is mighty impressed with the show's success and wants Vikas to plan a sequel for it, he, on the other hand, has no intentions of going ahead with it. Vikas apparently had harrowing experiences with its first season and he certainly doesn't want history to repeat itself. Priyank Sharma Opens Up on PuncchBeat 2, His Character Rahat and Rivalry With Siddharth Sharma.

When Spotboye got in touch with Gupta and asked him about his plans for a sequel, he said, "I had a greatly harrowing experience while making Puncch Beat. So I don't want to go through the same experience again that's why. It has worked brilliantly so my mind might change after 2-3 months, but right now I don't want to see such amazingly talented people who have made such conversations and gestures that made mine and my crew's life amazingly miserable".

When asked if he's hinting at Priyank and his unprofessional behaviour, Vikas said, "It was a difficult experience working with him as he had a knee injury for which he had to undergo immediate surgery. My shoot has been stopped a couple of times. Then we had to push the schedule and most scenes were set outdoor which made things more difficult. Sometimes due to his anger issues, he got his hands hurt by punching a wall." Gupta also revealed how Priyank used his injury to stall the shooting but was perfectly fine to dance at Prince and Yuvika's wedding. Puncch Beat: Hina Khan in Awe of Priyank Sharma Aka Rahat, Says ‘You Are Killing It’.

"He (Priyank) said he can't shoot because his legs hurt and couldn’t walk properly. However, at Prince and Yuvika's wedding, you were dancing like anything. You can go down on your knees to propose to Anusha in a fun way. You can work out every day, post a dance video every day. There were a lot of issues we had to face due to him. He used to go for events and not come for the shoot. Eventually, when the show wrapped up, he should have gone for his surgery. We are sitting in March but, it hasn't happened yet," he added. Though the producer agrees that Priyank justified Rahat's character very well yet his unprofessional behaviour cannot be even.
