New Delhi, March 6: The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) conducted the Class 12 Accountancy exam for Commerce stream students today on Wednesday, March 6,2019 at various centres across the country. The paper started at 10.30 AM and ended at 1.30 PM within the stipulated time. The duration of the paper is 3 hours. However, the students who appeared for the exam complained that the Accountancy paper was lengthy and a bit on the difficult side. Some students also complained about the lack of clarity in instructions to certain questions. A few students also took to Twitter to express their dissatisfaction with the Accounts exam.

Format of CBSE Class 12 Accountancy 2019 Question Paper:

The question paper contained two parts ‒ A and B. Part A comprised of topics like Accounting for Not-for-Profit Organizations, Partnership Firms and Companies carrying 60 marks. This part was compulsory for all the students.

Part B gave students the option between – I (Analysis of Financial Statements) or Option – II (Computerised Accounting). This part carried 20 marks. Part B had two options (as mentioned above) and students had to attempt only one of two options in part B.

There was also a printing error in the paper where the word Revaluation account was used in the place of Realisation account. Earlier, students who had appeared for Physics and English language paper had complained of discrepancy in the papers.
