CBSE Postpones Class 12 Re-Evaluation, Verification Portal Launch to June 1 Amid Technical Improvements

The Central Board of Secondary Education (CBSE) has postponed the launch of its Class 12 verification and re-evaluation portal to June 1, 2026, instead of the earlier scheduled date of May 29. The board said the delay was necessary to strengthen the online system and ensure a smoother experience for students applying for post-result services, as reported by FPJ. The portal will allow students to apply for verification of marks, obtain scanned copies of evaluated answer sheets, and request re-evaluation of specific answers. CBSE Responds to Technical Concerns

In recent weeks, several students reported difficulties accessing scanned copies of their evaluated answer books through the CBSE portal. CBSE has reported receiving a high volume of requests from Class 12 students seeking access to scanned copies of their answer books after the declaration of board exam results. How To Apply for CBSE Re-Evaluation 2026

Students who wish to apply for verification or re-evaluation can follow these steps once the portal becomes active on June 1:

3. Enter details including roll number, school number and admit card ID.

4. Select the subject(s) for verification or re-evaluation.

Under the CBSE post-result system, students first obtain scanned copies of their evaluated answer books before applying for verification or re-evaluation. Verification involves checking for totaling errors or unmarked answers, while re-evaluation allows students to request a review of specific responses.
