The National Testing Agency (NTA) has declared the University Grants Commission (UGC) National Eligibility Test (NET) 2018 results today, January 5. All those who have appeared in the December exam can check the scores available online at ntanet.nic.in. The candidates can download the NTA UGC NET 2018 result after providing their exam registration details. The newly-built NTA conducted its first NET examination from December 18 to December 22 at various test centres spread across 235 cities. No cases of malpractice in the examination hall were reported. According to NTA, more than 44,000 candidates have qualified the national level examination.

NTA published the answer keys last week, and the link to object was activated till January 1, 5:00 pm. This year’s online exam was more ‘transparent and secure’, the conducting body reported earlier. After going through the objections, NTA prepared the UGC NET 2018 scorecard. UGC NET is for aspirants who are seeking Junior Research Fellowship (JRF) and qualification for being appointed as teachers in top universities and colleges in India. NEET PG 2019 Exam Tomorrow! Quick Steps to Check NTA UGC NET 2018 Result

1. Visit the official website; ntanet.nic.in.

2. Click on the activated result link.

3. Enter application number or roll number, date of birth and security pin.

4. Submit the above details.

5. Your UGC NET 2018 scorecard will appear on the computer screen.

6. Check carefully, download and take a printout for future reference.

The conducting body further reported that out of 6,81,930 candidates who appeared on both papers of the exams held in December, 44,001 candidates qualified for eligibility for Assistant Professor while 3,883 qualified for JRF and eligible for Assistant Professor.
