The Railway Board of Recruitment (RRB) Group D is expected to be published anytime now. While some reports claim the scores for Group D computer-based test (CBT) will be announced on February 27, others confirm the results to be out on February 28. However, no updates from the RRB is worrying the 1.17 crore candidates, waiting for the results. The RRB officials have reportedly claimed that they would release a result notification before announcing the RRB Group D result, but there has been no sign of any such notice as February comes to an end. Candidates are hence advised to keep a tab on the official website; rrbcdg.gov.in and other regional RRB web portals. Check Group D Eligibility & Qualifying Criteria for Next Stage PET Online.

RRBs would conduct the recruitment process for the railway non-technical popular category (NTPC) posts from tomorrow, February 28 for above 1 lakh vacancies. The railway board have significantly denied confirming the Group D result date through their website because of the increasing number of aspirants flocking the site which leads to server down. However, keeping a constant check on RRBs regional sites will keep the candidates updated for the Group D results. RRB Group D recruitment advertisement was released in February last year for above 62,000 Group D vacancies for which more than 1.8 crore candidates applied.

More than 1.17 crore candidates appeared in the RRB Group D CBT which was conducted from September and concluded in December 2018. After the successful completion of the Group D CBT result announcement, the shortlisted candidates will next appear in the Physical Efficiency Test (PET), followed by the document verification process. Experts suggested that the cut-off for the RRB Group D written exam is expected to be high.
