New Delhi, September 25: The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) on Wednesday came out with the notification for the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2020. The UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2020 notification and link for registration was uploaded on the website by the UPSC today, on September 25. The notification is available on the official website of the UPSC- upsconline.nic.in. Candidates can read the official notification of the UPSC on the above given link.

The official notification for the Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2020 should be read carefully by the candidates or students. It is neccessary for the candidates to not fill wrong details. Though the form is available in both English and Hindi, candidates have to fill in the form only in English.

Other than the Centres except Delhi, Chennai, Dispur, Kolkata and Nagpur, there will be a ceiling imposed on the number of candidates allotted a Centre.

The allotment of Centres will thus be on the "first-apply-first get" basis. After a particular Centre gets full, that Centre gets frozen as a result of which it cannot take more applicants. Therefore, candidates should apply at the earliest possible to get the Centre of their choice.

Application Process Start Date: September 25, 2019

Last Date For Registration: October 15, 2019, till evening 6:00 pm.

The payment for the examination can be done both in online and offline mode. Candidates can apply using their debit as well as credits cards. Offline payment will have to done through SBI offline challan.

How to apply for the preliminary examination of UPSC Combined Geo-Scientist Examination 2020

Candidates should visit the official website of UPSC- upsconline.nic.in.

Candidates should look For "ONLINE APPLICATION FOR VARIOUS EXAMINATIONS OF UPSC" option and click on the same.

Candidates then have to click on the COMBINED GEO-SCIENTIST (Preliminary) EXAMINATION Registration Part I and Part II

Candidates then have to fill up the application form. After that they have to upload the required documents and proceed towards making payment. Candidates have to then click on the 'Submit' button. They are advised to save the details which appear on the screen and check their e-mail for confirmation.
