Anju Devi was reportedly left in a difficult situation after a monkey took possession of her money. Despite several attempts to retrieve the cash, the animal continued to hold on to it. The incident took place in the Civil Lines area under the Kotwali Nagar police station. Local police were informed about the situation and sent a team to the spot.

Sub-Inspector Ashok Kumar, Sub-Inspector Pankaj Singh, Head Constable Kuldeep Yadav and Constable Ankit reached the location after receiving information about the incident.
