New Delhi, January 2: Banks will remain shut for 10 days in the month of January 2020 on account of several public holidays. People are curious (just like every month) to know the holidays in the first month of the year 2020. Apart from the national holiday on January 26 (Republic Day), there are other regional holidays that fall in the month of January. Knowing public holidays well in advance helps in planning a trip. In January 2020, five days will be a holiday on five Sundays. On second Saturday (January 11) and fourth Saturday (January 25) of the month public and private banks will remain closed. There will be a national holiday on January 26 (Sunday) on the eve of Republic Day.
