In a video statement, Gandhi noted that nearly a month had passed since pellets were fired. He said Lochab has pellets lodged in his body, including three in his eye that have affected his vision and several near his heart. Gandhi and the family arrived around 11:30 am and waited until evening for the FIR to be filed. Background of the Pellet Injury Case
The complaint relates to injuries sustained during a July 20 demonstration in Delhi linked to alleged irregularities in the NEET examination. Lochab underwent treatment and surgery at AIIMS Trauma Centre.
